UV disinfection
Challenge: One of two UV units had reached the point where replacement offered better long-term value than further repair, with minimal shutdown time and no unnecessary pipework changes.
Approach: Specified a flange-to-flange replacement system suited to the existing installation, with local HMI control and improved maintenance access, then coordinated supply, installation and commissioning.
PLC & HMI upgrades
Challenge: A legacy touch-panel HMI on a three-generator ozone plant upgraded to a modern interface, preserving the critical operating logic.
Approach: Reviewed the legacy screens and site operation, defined a Functional Design Specification covering modes, sequences, interlocks and alarms, then supported commissioning and functional testing.
Ozone systems
Challenge: An ageing ozone generator was tripping on repeated faults, with a supplier recommendation to replace the complete unit.
Approach: On-site diagnostics across power supply, dielectrics, cooling and gas feed isolated the true root cause instead of replacing the system.
